Allstressmanagment.com. I’m going to present these over the next few weeks. Present these little webinars, these mini webinars on how to profit from stress management. Let’s face it, what we need to know is, we have good stress and bad stress. Okay, here we go.

We will talk about over the next few weeks, it’s the bad stress that we need to deal with because you certainly do need some stress in your life. We are going to cover the topics of how it affects us. It really affects us on 3 levels, physical, psychological and emotional because they are all tied in. If you have physical pain, obviously it affects you psychologically and emotionally. You don’t feel too good and also emotional pain can bring on through posture and things like that, physical pain, yeah?

Also we are going to cover things like how to stay ahead and how is this going to profit? This isn’t just going to profit you in your business life and your work life and your personal life. Whatever you leave the house with in the morning, you take to work with you and whatever you leave work, you take back home with you. Yeah? Okay so it’ makes sense that it’s all integrated and the idea of managing stress, managing pain, because of all the symptoms. Flexible body, flexible mind. We are going to talk about all those sorts of things as well and how best you can deal with these things.

You have got to decide what in your life and how can you profit. If you were functioning better without stress or pain, because it not even just affects you on a psychological  level, underneath everything. You get tense shoulders, you get headaches, you get back-pain and you just try and soldier on as they say. Well, why do that when you can just start your day with things that keep breaking the cycle of stress. What we’ve got to understand is that it’s not what we are doing that’s causing the stress, it’s the things that we are not doing. That’s what we’ve got to ask yourself, where’s the profit in that?

If you are functioning better, you are going to get more done in less time. Let’s face it, you are going to bring in more profits because you’re just functioning better, with a clearer mind and a better functioning body. Let’s talk about personal life because that’s really where you are also going to profit. You are just going to be of more value to everyone in your life because your moods are going to be better. You are going to be able to play, if you’ve got grand-kids or children. You don’t have to make excuses, “Oh, I’m too old to be running around doing this anymore” or “Back-pain is just a part of my life and I’m all stressed out”.

No, you are going to profit in your life because, and I always make the joke of my clients, that the benefits that they are going to get from this because you are improving your life and I don’t even charge them. It’s a no-brainer. Getting rid of stress that we need to understand how we do this, okay? The 2 ways that we are also going to discuss over the next few weeks is about flexible body and a flexible mind. These are the things that keep you agile. How do you keep a flexible body? Well, physical therapy, stretching exercise, all of that sort of stuff but it’s got to be done in a specific way.

There’s the stretching and then there’s stretching. A lot of people say, “Yeah, all right, I do stretching”, but they still have pain. The idea of effective stretching, remedial stretching is to live without pain. My background, I mean I had back pain for 15 years. You think, “Oh, that’s just the way it is, and a part of life”, and all this sort of stuff. I just decided not to accept that and started doing things through my life and studying things. I’m certified in a few disciplines of Body Work, Bowen Therapy, Remedial Massage, Thai Yoga Body Work.

I’ve been doing yoga for 20 years. I’m a clinical hypnotherapist and it’s all about, you’ve got to integrate these things together. Just working on a physical level, okay you are going to get results from that. Working on a psychological level, sure, that’s certainly going to help and working on an emotional level, to keep you just feeling better. Of course that’s going to help, but it’s when you integrate the 3 things together, it’s like turbo-charging the results. When you understand how to integrate, so also we are going to talk about, I’m going to share things with you about, you’ve got to be able to activate things. You’ve got to be able to activate.

What if you knew how to release trigger points? What if you knew how to release that fascia, all that connective tissue because this is a real key-hurt, getting rid of physical pain and working on the muscle and joints. We are going to go in to all that over the next few weeks as well, okay? My big gig is this fascia. Unless you release this fascia, you really do … you are not getting the whole job done, let’s face it.

Then there’s stretching. It’s like remedial stretching. We are going to talk about what’s the difference. It’s stuff that, sort of stretching that I use in my Body Work, on clients. I’ve been able to adapt it. It’s like doing yoga for 20 years. Imagine adapting remedial stretching to yoga postures It’s like, it just really goes through the roof. Sometimes I prescribe yoga postures for my clients. Take home and do this and you know, you might not be interested in yoga, I know.

Yoga is not just about stretching even though you would seem to think so in our world. It’s actually only 1 in 8 limbs of yoga, so you don’t have to do yoga but applying some of the yoga postures but putting a remedial sense on it, and engaging the mind with it. When you learn how to do that, you just to start to go more inside. You just start to feel better inside. Also so what else am I going to do with psychological problems and get rid of headaches, get rid of back-ache, get rid of shoulder pinch. Why have we got these things and why are we running away from these things. Anxiety, the symptoms we get, the tight chest, all of this stuff, we are going to cover over the next few weeks.

We need to also address mental relaxation. This is my little flip chart I’m showing you. Mental relaxation. How do you achieve this? Through meditation, self-hypnosis, the meridian tapping, the EFT, not watching the television really but there’s many other ways. Hobbies, reading books, all that sort of thing, distracts you or takes you out of the chaos of today. With these sort of tools, we are going to talk about, too is meditation. It’s all about re-framing because what you think is the problem isn’t really the problem.

It’s all about shifting focus. We are going to talk about that, how the problems actually there to talk to you and tell you things, and tell you how to best do it. Most of all, to get the most effect from all of this, it’s got to be simple and it’s got to be practical. What do you do at work? You feel that shoulder tension, headaches, whatever. You know you’ve got an appointment booked with the therapist, or a massage or some other sort of body work, Bowen Therapy or whatever. Maybe you are going to see a counsellor to have a chat. It’s 2 weeks away so like what do you do in the meantime?

When you integrate all this stuff in to your life, through-out you day, so you take a minute here, a minute there to do this and that, and you are constantly breaking the cycle of stress, so you just function more fully and you profit in every area of your life. That’s  what this whole series is all about, profit. It needs to be integration. It needs to be all integrated, the physical, the psychological and the emotional. When you integrate all these things, we know it also needs to be simple and practical. I’m going to share with you over the next few weeks, over the next few sessions, we are going to just go through each thing one step at a time.
